Regional Export Center
The government has given the Dalarna Region the task of setting up a regional export centre in the county. Dalarna is one of six pilot counties that are included in the government’s export strategy.
The purpose of the export centre is to facilitate companies that want to export, and to increase the possibilities of working proactively for an increased internationalisation, among the county’s companies. The aim is that every company is contacted, regarding their question, by the correct person in the correct organisation, within 24 hours.
A regional export centre consists of several organisations that work together to make is easier for companies to receive the correct support in their internationalisation process. With a collective service offering, the companies receive knowledge, network, and financing based on their specific needs.
The following authorities and organisations are included in Dalarna: Almi Företagspartner AB, Invest in Dalarna, Enterprise Europe Network, Business Sweden, The Swedish Chamber of Commerce, The County Administrative Board for Dalarna and the Swedish Agency for Economical and Regional Growth. The collective offering will eventually be located on verksamt.se/Dalarna. Dalarna Science Park has received the coordinating function. Anna Torsgården is the project manager.
This is included in the government’s export strategy, in order to achieve the lowest rate of unemployment in the EU by 2020. Already today, the export industry directly and indirectly employs more than 1.3 million people in Sweden.
