Driven and Curious Communications Specialist for Dalarna Science Park

About the roles
Our communications team is a key function within Dalarna Science Park, tasked with helping us achieve our business goals. Our communications team operates somewhat like an in-house communications agency. At the same time, we manage everything from strategic and project communications to content production, social media, the web, press and PR, events, and digital development.
We operate in a dynamic environment where a lot is happening and conditions can change rapidly. Through collaboration with academia, the business community, and the public sector, we address issues related to the development of businesses and the Dalarna region. This also means that our communication needs are constantly evolving.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work both independently and alongside colleagues. One day you’ll be planning communications for a project; the next, you’ll be creating content for digital channels or testing new ways of working.
We are looking for a temporary employee for one year, with the possibility of an extension.
Who are you?
As a person, you are self-motivated, unpretentious, and responsible. You enjoy working in a team, can switch between different tasks, and are happy to help out wherever needed.
You are a communications professional with extensive experience in the field and have a keen sense of language, target audiences, messaging, and channels. With your experience in digital communications, you can take an idea all the way to a finished communication piece. You enjoy both planning and execution and aren’t afraid to try new things. We’d also like to see that you have experience using AI and modern technology to develop and streamline communications work—not to replace it.
You have relevant education in communications or marketing and documented experience in independently managing communications projects.

This is a one-year temporary position starting in January 2027, with the possibility of extension. The position requires that you be able to work on-site at our office in Borlänge.
