Communicator writes on post-it notes.

Are you a driven and courageous communicator, a star at spreading the right message in the right channel? Are you responsive, solution-oriented and passionate about meeting people? Do you also thrive in an environment characterized by innovation and creativity? Then you could be the one we are looking for!

As a communicator at Dalarna Science Park, you will be an important part of the team that works with our communication both within Dalarna and nationally and internationally.

Dalarna Science Park

A science park is a place where academia, business and the public sector come together to promote innovation, sustainability and regional development. An arena where ideas can be born, tested and realized, for a better world and increased regional growth.

Dalarna Science Park is Dalarna's innovation arena and supports companies in all sectors with business development, sustainable growth and internationalization. We help both new and established entrepreneurs and companies with both practical support and creating valuable contacts.

Since 1987, we have also worked to strengthen Dalarna's attractiveness and growth through various development projects. Through collaboration with other science parks in the world, we constantly strive to be at the national and international forefront.

We offer

Our communications team currently consists of four people and we are now looking to expand to five. As a communicator with us, you will be part of the team, a team that is jointly responsible for developing and driving Dalarna Science Park's communication, both operationally and strategically, regionally, nationally and internationally. In our communication team, we value collaboration and flexibility. We are unpretentious, help each other and support each other when needed.

Our primary target group is mainly the business community - throughout Dalarna. We address both aspiring and established entrepreneurs and companies. We organize around fifty events every year, most of which are both physical and digital. All our work is based on a clear and well-established strategy.

If you want to work in a fast-paced business and enjoy new opportunities and building commitment to sustainable development, then you will thrive with us.

About you

We are looking for someone who is driven, used to managing deadlines, responsible and passionate about the power of communication to achieve impact. You know and have a sense of what captures the interest of different target groups, can formulate and implement strategies, adapt tonality, message and appeal in the right context and the right channels. You are a team player and find it easy to make new contacts. You are equally comfortable developing a strategy as rolling up your sleeves and quickly getting a photo or filming something if needed.

For this role to be a good fit, you need to have previous experience of leading and implementing communication projects where you have also been involved in the planning process. In other words, you are as much a driven project manager as a communicator. You should have worked in today's media landscape and understand the interplay between own, earned and shared channels in particular. That is, the channels that form the basis of Dalarna Science Park's communication.

To do the job, you need to have a relevant university degree or equivalent education/experience that can be considered as equivalent. Several years of experience in a similar role in the workplace. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
