Dalarna 24H Challenge
Dalarna 24h Innovation Challenge is an annual event where university students work for 24 hours on a concrete challenge, presented by a company or organization. The aim is to generate new ideas that contribute to sustainable development in Dalarna and increase interest in innovation, energy, technology and communication.
The competition starts at lunchtime on Friday with a presentation of a challenge - a topical issue from one or more companies in Dalarna hoping for the students' help. The students are divided into smaller groups and work under the guidance of Dalarna Science Park's coaches with the challenge until the presentation at Saturday lunch.
The 2024 challenge was presented by Dalarnas Energibolag
How can energy companies in Dalarna engage more people in the green energy transition? And what can the companies themselves do? These are some of the questions that students from Dalarna University will soon be tackling in the second edition of the Dalarna 24h Innovation Challenge.
