Dalarna Science Park on tour
Dalarna Science Park on Tour is a mobile concept where Dalarna Science Park takes its activities to different parts of the county. The aim is to meet business owners, innovators and entrepreneurs where they are - on their home turf.
By creating accessible meeting places throughout Dalarna, the initiative strengthens the regional innovation system and makes it easier for more people to access support, networks and knowledge.
Each tour stop offers inspiring lectures, practical workshops, advice and the opportunity to meet face-to-face with experts in business development, digitalization, innovation, sustainability and internationalization. It can be about sharpening a business idea, finding new collaborations or gaining insights into how new technologies such as AI can be used in business.
The tour is often organized in collaboration with local actors such as municipalities, business associations or entrepreneurs' associations, which creates a strong local connection and relevance. Examples of previous stops include Falun, Avesta, Leksand, Vansbro, Älvdalen, Orsa and Mora - where local entrepreneurs have received inspiration and concrete tools to grow.
The aim of Dalarna Science Park on Tour is to lower the thresholds for innovation support, build stronger relationships with Dalarna's entrepreneurs and contribute to sustainable growth throughout the region.
Avesta March 28
During Avesta Företagardag we had great meetings in the stand and exciting conversations about business development, ideas and future plans on stage. KEAB, Hedemora Glasmästeri, Livsaptit AB and Toveko Cleaning System AB who shared their experiences from our programs on stage.
Leksand March 7
During Leksand's Entrepreneur Week, we had a program after the entrepreneur breakfast at Leksand Folk High School. There we met both established entrepreneurs and people who are thinking about starting their own business. Our activity was in connection with the breakfast and we invited the former incubator company Kwikk and its founder David Forsberg. David gave the participants an inspiring lecture on how AI can be used practically in small and medium-sized enterprises. He gave us concrete examples of how generative AI can streamline work and create new business opportunities. It was an engaging conversation about digitalization and future opportunities.
