Reuse as part of the business model

February 5, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. - at 9:30 a.m. online

The Interreg Sweden-Norway project Circular Bioeconomy Arena is now inviting participants to a webinar.

Listen to Anna Denell, Sustainability Manager at Vasakronan, who shares how Vasakronan works with reuse to reduce risk and gain cost benefits—for example, through lower expenses and increased value management.

By reducing its dependence on new virgin materials, Vasakronan is preparing for future regulatory and resource-related risks. Vasakronan works with a reuse bonus for contractors, which makes it financially attractive for them to choose reused materials over new ones. At the same time, contractors do not receive any surcharge for new materials, which means that new materials become a less attractive choice for the contractor.

During this webinar, Anna will present concrete examples from various construction projects, such as Lumi in Uppsala, where Vasakronan has chosen to invest in large-scale reuse in addition to maintaining and developing an existing building from the 1970s.

This webinar is aimed at people in client organizations and regulatory bodies, but also at contractors and suppliers.

Registration takes place on the Circular Bioeconomy Arena website.
