What do data centers do, what skills are in demand, and how do their operations impact society as a whole?
We’ll meet with EcoDataCenter, Google, and Microsoft as they present their operations, what they do, and the skills they’re looking for. We’ll also examine the impact that the establishment of large data centers has on the surrounding community and the regional IT industry.
Together, we discuss potential areas of collaboration, future needs for IT expertise and consultants, and issues related to cybersecurity. We also look ahead and identify current topics leading up to spring 2027.
At 12:00 p.m., we'll wrap up with a casual lunch for anyone who'd like to join.

Who is this for? This eventis aimed at those who work for a company in the IT industry. The program and discussions will be held in Swedish. The content is designed for professionals, so the event is primarily intended for people working in the industry.
These events are a collaboration between Dalarna Science Park and the business development offices of the municipalities of Falun and Borlänge, and are funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Region Dalarna through the Mighty EDIH and DigiMod projects.
