What is required for more companies to want and be able to take their place in Dalarna's food chain, from food crafts to industrial production? We discuss business development, skills supply, generational change and how we together strengthen the food system's supply capacity and preparedness, while taking advantage of the system's diversity, social benefits and ability to meet more needs than just calorie production. Coffee and sandwiches will be served from 08:30.

Food for Tomorrow - three meetings on the food strategy
In March 2025, a new national food strategy was adopted with a focus on increased robustness, exports and strengthened Swedish quality. As part of the development of a regional strategy for Dalarna, Dalarna Science Park invites to three thematic meetings. The aim is to gather knowledge, ideas and perspectives from industry players in the county. At the same time, the Swedish Board of Agriculture is working on a vision for Swedish food production by 2030, including proposals for increased production of seafood, cereals, meat, milk and green proteins. Now we need to work together to identify goals and opportunities that suit Dalarna's conditions.
