Hackathon: Help a startup automate its future
Need owner: Livsaptit AB
Livsaptit is a company that offers subscription services for food to the elderly, a growing area where good nutrition and simple everyday life are in focus. Behind the company is a nurse with a passionate commitment, but also a great need for digital support to automate customer management.
The challenge:
Livsaptit's current digital solution is cumbersome. The website is coded by an agency, which means that Livsaptit itself cannot change anything. The goal is to create a new system in WordPress with plugin solutions. The challenge will focus on:
- Automated order flows
- Integration with mailings, forms, CRM and Shopify
- GDPR-safe handling of personal data
- A solution that minimizes manual work
- Possibility of scaling up from the recently completed test round to a larger implementation.
What will you do?
You will work in small teams to:
- Outline an efficient digital flow for Livsaptit's operations
- Identify solutions for automation and integration
- Propose technical solutions focusing on usability, security and scalability
During the workshop you will not build the solution but the focus is to identify solutions and a possible flow.
Who can join?
Students in Systems Science and IT Security who want to work on real needs and create solutions with direct benefit to society. An interest in WordPress and integrations is helpful.

For a driven person who wants to build experience, there is an opportunity to get involved in Livsaptit. To continue to develop their solution, they need a person who can make a long-term commitment. There you have the opportunity to act as CTO. It is a good opportunity to build real experience and a strong merit on your CV. As it is an early stage startup, it is an unpaid position.
