I am responsible for Dalarna Science Park’s sustainability strategy and coordinate our work with ISO 26000. My role involves overseeing the structure, monitoring, and development of our sustainability efforts, as well as supporting management in integrating sustainability issues into our operations. I also contribute to training initiatives within our scale-up programs, various sustainability projects, and internally among our employees, where the focus is on translating the sustainability strategy into concrete action.
As an environmental scientist with experience in both the private sector and municipal operations, I understand how sustainability can be integrated into different organizations. Working on various development projects has given me insight into what it takes to move from goals to practical implementation.
My driving force is to contribute where it makes a real difference. In a time when so much feels uncertain, it is meaningful to work together with stakeholders and colleagues who want to move forward.
What is your view on sustainability? Sustainability isn’t a side issue, but a prerequisite for us humans to continue living a good life on this planet. Right now, we’re taking more than we’re giving back.
