Dalarna Innovation Days 2025. Innovation, discussion and faith in the future throughout the county 

In October it's time again. For the third year, Dalarna Innovation Days will be organized, four days filled with inspiration, exchange of ideas and new meetings. Between October 21 and 24, entrepreneurs, innovators, companies, students and community actors will gather to shape the future of Dalarna together. As in previous years, the program takes place both physically and digitally with activities in Borlänge, Falun, Rättvik, Mora, Smedjebacken/Ludvika and Hedemora. 

- "We are pleased that this year we have more events around Dalarna, and that many can also be followed online. This makes Dalarna Innovation Days more accessible to everyone," says Christina Sjöberg, Head of Communications at Dalarna Science Park. 

This year's edition includes both popular recurring features and exciting new ones, from sustainable food systems and energy companies of the future to agricultural innovation, digitalization and entrepreneurship. Among the highlights are: 

• Dalarna Startup Arena - a forum where investors meet startups from all over central Sweden. The day offers eight sharp pitches, networking and conversations with, among others, Karin O'Connor and Filip Reineby from Drakpodden. 

• Swedish Wool Initiative - an inspiring event about how Swedish wool can become the hub of a new textile industry. Here, craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability meet in lectures, discussions and an exhibition. 

• Digitization tour - local innovation events in Rättvik, Mora, Smedjebacken and Ludvika, focusing on AI, entrepreneurship and community development. 

• From food waste to food waste - with star chef Paul Svensson and examples of circular solutions that turn waste into new opportunities. 

• The 33 list & Drakpodden live - an afternoon about the future of technology companies, investments and business travel. 

• Looking to the future of agriculture - how new technologies and collaboration can future-proof agriculture. 

• Dala Day - on security and strategy in a changing world, including Joakim Paasikivi. 

• Research and innovation for sustainable healthcare - a forum for researchers, entrepreneurs and policy makers to jointly explore solutions for the future of healthcare in Dalarna. 

• Dalarna Talks - summing up the week with future insights and new perspectives 

The program includes lectures, panels, workshops, AWs, tastings and networking. Many events are open and most are free of charge. 

Behind Dalarna Innovation Days is Dalarna Science Park in collaboration with a wide network of companies, organizations and public actors in the region.
