Dalarna is becoming part of Sweden’s smart future. The Internet of Things, or IoT, is no longer a thing of the future—it’s here and now. With the establishment of a regional hub within the national IoT World network, Dalarna is becoming a key player in the development of smart and connected solutions. This collaboration creates a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and business development in the field of IoT.
Behind the node is Dalarna Science Park, working closely with companies, municipalities, academia, and innovation promoters. The aim is clearly to create a platform where technology, knowledge, and people come together to solve real challenges with the help of IoT.

The establishment in Dalarna shows that there is momentum in the region, and IoT World is strengthening its presence in central Sweden. Going forward, we see a development where the network will become a catalyst for innovation in areas such as energy, construction, logistics, and the public sector.
A growing community
The node in Dalarna is the sixth in Sweden, alongside Linköping, Jönköping, Västernorrland, Kalmar, and Halland. This network will serve as a hub for both regional and national cooperation. Among the first members in Dalarna are:
