Ideas that can be developed into innovations are often the key to successful businesses. Have you found a completely new solution, developed a product or service that could lead to commercial opportunities? Over half a million SEK will be awarded to Sweden's most innovative ideas. Now is the time to apply for the SKAPA Prize 2024. You are competing for the SKAPA Prize of SEK 500,000 and the SKAPA Talent Prize for Young Innovators of SEK 250,000.
Every year, the SKAPA Foundation awards the SKAPA Prize and the SKAPA Talent Prize for Young Innovators, with the aim of supporting inventors and innovators to develop their ideas.
Last year's SKAPA award winner was Linnéa Falkinger with her vegan meat CashewMeetly and in 2022 it was Idris Harki with his process for producing natural fragrances. The 2023 finalist for SKAPA talent was Daniel Björkman with his headgear for football players.
Award winners at regional and national level
A regional award ceremony will be held, with Dalarna Science Park as the county jury. The prizes will be awarded by the Governor of Dalarna County. The regional jury will select a county winner for the SKAPA Prize and one for the SKAPA Talent for Young Innovators.
SKAPA Talent is a competition for those aged 30 and under, born between 1994 and 2004. The county winners then go on to participate in the competition at the national level where this year's national award winners are appointed during the SKAPA Innovation Gala in Stockholm on November 14.
