Soon it will once again be time for jagharenide.nu, one of Sweden's largest idea competitions. It is open to everyone over the age of 18 and Dalarna's prize pool includes business coaching and SEK 20,000 to develop the idea.

The goal of jagharenide.nu is to encourage entrepreneurship and innovative ideas - So far, more than 1 200 ideas have competed and judged. In Dalarna, the competition runs from 1-30 April and is organized by Dalarna Science Park with Sparbankstiftelsen Dalarna as one of the co-financiers.
"Believe in yourself and your idea"
- Idea competitions are important to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs, and we also know that some ideas would never have emerged if it weren't for the competition," says Felicia Dakkour, who is project managing the competition together with her colleague Jacob Ode.
Entries will be judged on how well the idea solves a problem or fills a need, how feasible it is, what market potential it has and how it meets the sustainability goals based on the 2030 Agenda.
- The idea does not have to be completely new and unique, it can be to change something for the better or use new methods and approaches, says Felicia, quoting last year's winner Jamila Boccaccio.
- She said it so well: "Put fear aside and believe in yourself and your idea, the rest will work out!"
Kjell Grundström from Sparbanksstiftelsen Dalarna is also looking forward to seeing the competition entries later this spring.
- "Last year we received a lot of exciting and creative ideas, so we hope that this year's competition will be of the same high standard," he says.
