Dalarna Science Park Annual Report
“Dalarna is Sweden’s next growth region. This is where billions are being invested right now, where the jobs are, and where the green transition is rapidly advancing. Dalarna is, and has been for centuries, an innovative region. And we are working every day to ensure that it remains so.”
Angelica Ekholm, CEO Dalarna Science Park

Welcome to Dalarna Science Park.
Welcome to Dalarna.

Dalarna Science Park operates throughout Dalarna. This means that the region's 15 municipalities are the focus of initiatives and efforts to promote regional business. Today, Dalarna attracts billions in investments. It is in Dalarna that jobs are available and the green transition is gaining momentum. Dalarna is, and has been for centuries, a driving force for Swedish industry. Within a few years, we hope that Dalarna will be the country's leading growth region.

Dalarna also stands out at the EU level. The fact that Dalarna is moving in the right direction is proven when the EU presents this year's European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS). The EIS reports that Dalarna, as part of Central Sweden, is one of Europe's strongest regions for innovation and collaboration, two parameters that, according to the EU's measurements, prove how a region chooses to strengthen its innovative power. When it comes to collaboration between business, academia, and the public sector, the same EU survey shows that Central Sweden, of which Dalarna is a central part, leads the way in Europe.
