The hub for sustainable innovation and competitiveness

Dalarna Science Park has had a well-established strategy of contributing to the region's sustainability for many years. Dalarna Science Park brings together stakeholders from business, academia, and the public sector. This position creates many opportunities to bring about change, both regionally and nationally.

Today, the green transition is both pronounced and distinctive in the business community throughout Dalarna, among both large, well-established industries and smaller companies. Dalarna Science Park's mission is to be a driving force and a helping hand for established companies, large industries, and small startups alike, ensuring a sustainability perspective throughout the entire business process. In the incubator, Dalarna's only one, Dalarna Science Park also requires that the sustainability perspective be explicit in the business idea.

Dalarna Science Park bases its sustainability work on the UN's global goals. For us, sustainability is not a goal in itself, but a prerequisite for a strong and competitive business community in the region. In our sustainability strategy, we emphasize that sustainability should always be part of business models and strategic decisions. It is about reducing risks, using resources efficiently, attracting investment, and reaching new markets. As an organization, Dalarna Science Park is highly motivated to contribute to achieving Agenda 2030 while strengthening the competitiveness of both Dalarna and Sweden.
