Supporting visionaries and inventors
Since its inception in 1986, the SKAPA Foundation has honored Swedish innovators and entrepreneurs. The prize is a tribute to innovation and drive, and aims to help creative people realize their ideas. The initiative was started in memory of Alfred Nobel and is supported by Almi Företagspartner AB, VINNOVA and the Swedish Inventors' Association, among others.
Get inspired by previous winners!
In 2024, Pontus Lindberg won the SKAPA award in Dalarna for his groundbreaking method of timber marking. In 2023, Daniel Björkman, with his innovative headgear for football players, won the SKAPA talent award in Dalarna in 2023. These are just two examples. Now it's your turn to make history!
Participate at regional and national level
A regional award ceremony is organized in Dalarna, where Dalarna Science Park is responsible for the county jury. Two winners will be chosen here:
- County winner of the SKAPA award.
- The county winner of the SKAPA talent competition (for young people aged 20 to 30).
Regional winners then go on to the big SKAPA Innovation Gala in Stockholm in November 2025, where national winners are crowned.
