DalaCapital invests in Spheed Software and their digital door management solution

DalaCapital AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalarna Science Park, continues to support innovative growth companies in their early stages. The latest investment of SEK 500,000 goes to Spheed Software, which has developed a cloud-based SaaS platform that simplifies door management throughout its entire life cycle.

The Ntera platform combines project planning, document management, and CE marking in a digital tool that streamlines workflows for security companies and property owners. The system is primarily aimed at installers and fitters in the lock and door industry and serves as a comprehensive solution for all doors.

Behind Spheed Software are Rikard Spångmyr, Järker Edling, Daniel Edling, and Ludvig Hedlund, four partners with extensive experience in the lock industry and solid expertise in locks, door design, and IT.

The capital from DalaCapital will be used for the continued development of the platform and preparations for market launch.

DalaCapital's capital comes from LF Dalarnas, Sparbanksstiftelsen Dalarna, and Region Dalarna. The aim is to strengthen innovative entrepreneurs in the region who contribute to sustainable growth throughout Dalarna. Investments are made in the seed phase, before the companies have entered the market at large.

Anders Hjertberg, business area manager at LF Dalarnas and board member at DalaCapital, highlights the importance of companies in the region developing solutions that lead to increased security in society.

"This is an interesting example of a scalable digital solution based on industry knowledge and digital innovation. Secure doors are an important prerequisite for reducing the risk of crime and damage, and when the CE marking process becomes clearer with this solution, the risk of errors and quality deficiencies is also reduced," says Anders Hjertberg.
