Dalarna is getting its own Women in Tech event

On April 22, women from various sectors of the business community will gather at Dalarna Science Park for the first local edition of Women in Tech in Dalarna. The afternoon will focus on digitalization and technology, featuring local speakers, a live broadcast from Stockholm, and opportunities to network.

Dalarna is a thriving industrial region where digitalization and new technologies are driving progress. Many women here are actively involved in developing businesses, products, and solutions at both large corporations and growing companies.

This afternoon, Dalarna will be connected to the stage in Stockholm, while a local gathering place takes shape. Here, you can enjoy the program alongside others in the region and make new connections.

This year’s theme is “Riding the Tides of Tech – Turning Pressure into Momentum.” The focus is on how we manage change in an era where AI, digitalization, and new skill requirements are impacting both roles and business.

The program combines local perspectives with a national outlook. On-site in Dalarna, participants include Elmira Birkehag from Hitachi Energy, who will serve as moderator, as well as Tina Lindahl, Elin Häggberg, and Marie Forsberg from Femma AB, and Annika Lidefelt from EcoDataCenter. They will share concrete experiences from their organizations and offer their perspectives on technology, leadership, and development.

The day begins with a networking lunch, followed by a stage program, and concludes with a reception.

This event is aimed at anyone working in the tech sector across all industries. Students and decision-makers are also welcome.

The event is free of charge, and space is limited.
