With successful innovation and a strong willingness to invest, Dalarna is seen as an attractive place to grow. How has this development been possible? What does Dalarna have that other regions do not? These are questions that will be discussed when Dalarna Science Park takes Dalarna to Almedalen.
Dalarna Science Park's recurring hybrid seminar, Dalarna Talks, is now being moved to Almedalen for the first time. On July 6, a Dalarna Talks will be organized on site in Visby on the theme - Dalarna as Sweden's future growth region. As usual, the program will be led by Dalarna Science Park's CEO, Angelica Ekholm, and can be followed on site in Visby or via the digital live broadcast.
- There is an incredible amount happening in Dalarna right now. The level of investment now being made in the business sector is unprecedented. Suddenly, we have become one of the most interesting growth regions in Sweden. It will therefore be fun to tell the world about this positive development - in Visby and digitally. By being present at Almedalen, we will also have the opportunity to highlight the challenges and obstacles that start-ups and established companies face at national level. Obstacles that can hamper regional growth both here and in other parts of the country," says Angelica Ekholm, CEO of Dalarna Science Park.
Opportunities and challenges will be discussed with a high-profile panel that will help spread knowledge about successful growth to interested parties and decision-makers in the country.
