Dalastartups attracted considerable interest at Techarena 2026

Startups at Techarena

On February 11-12, we participated in TECHARENA 2026 at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm. As a partner, we had our own booth in The Swedish Ecosystem, where we and our companies showed that Dalarna is a place where startups grow and think big.

Stackship AB was one of the companies that really made its mark during the event. With its ambition to contribute to European digital independence and build robust solutions at a time when the issue is more relevant than ever, it attracted considerable interest among investors and industry profiles.

"We had a meeting with a major investor who ranked us among the top five out of two hundred companies he had received inquiries from. That was a strong endorsement for us, and we received very positive feedback," says Pontus Hjort, co-founder of Stackship.

SPHEED Software AB also made valuable contacts during the event.

"We have had many interesting meetings and, for our part, one important meeting that feels really good," says Järker Rosén Edling.

– Here, it feels like everyone is very open and easy to talk to.

It was two intense days filled with pitches, investor meetings, and new relationships. Several companies booked follow-up meetings ahead of upcoming investment rounds.

Our stand also attracted attention in itself. The Dalahorse-inspired rocket became a clear symbol of Dalarna's innovative power and attracted many curious visitors who wanted to know more about the companies and the opportunities available here.

Techarena is one of Scandinavia's largest business and technology events, bringing together thousands of founders, investors, and business leaders every year. Over 300 speakers from around the world took to the stage, including Zlatan Ibrahimović, and the program featured discussions on innovation, leadership, and sustainable growth.
