We now present our Innovation Report for 2024, which summarizes a year of strong developments, sustainability projects and new business initiatives in the region. Many visions have become reality.
Highlights of the year include the celebration of the incubator's 20th anniversary, where the companies that went through the incubator had a turnover of SEK 1.2 billion in 2023 and had created nearly 600 jobs. We have also launched the Circular Industry Accelerator, Sweden's first of its kind, to promote sustainability by matching industry waste streams with innovative startups. In addition, Dalarna Innovation Days broke records with over 1 700 registrations and an inspiring program. During the year, 23 development projects have also run, 11 new companies have been admitted to the incubator, 48 established Dalarna companies have participated in our development programs, 49 municipal visits have been carried out and 69 open lectures and lectures have been offered.
