Mats to support new innovations from the forest

Dalarna Science Park is strengthening its team with a project manager in forest bioeconomy. It is Mats Jacobsson who will work with the project Bioinno which aims to help new forest-based innovations to the market.

- There are many exciting things happening right now. Among other things, we have met a delegation from Ontario in Canada consisting of both companies and promoters who want to have an exchange with us here in Värmland and Dalarna. I think this could lead to new business opportunities. Of course, we will also continue our work to offer support to companies that want to develop their innovations and to connect companies, universities and regions to find business opportunities," says Mats Jacobsson.

Mats Jacobsson has worked as a business advisor in recent years and has a background as both a leader and project manager from many different industries. He has a great interest in forests and how the potential of forests can be utilized to create a more sustainable future.

At Dalarna Science Park, Mats will also work with forest bioeconomy in the Focus Industry Spets project.
