The newly formed angel investment company Tregion Startup Invest matches private investors with the most promising business ideas in Dalarna, Gävleborg and Västernorrland. Dalarna Science Park is behind the initiative together with Movexum and BizMaker.
BizMaker, Dalarna Science Park and Movexum work closely together to develop more innovative startups. Now they are taking another step to strengthen the growth of incubator companies in the three regions by creating the joint angel investment company Tregion Startup Invest AB.
The company's goal is to increase the opportunities for startups outside the metropolitan regions to grow with the help of external capital. Private investors, the business angels who together own Tregion Startup Invest, are linked to startups that need capital at an early stage to accelerate their journey to the market. In addition to funding, startups get access to networking, skills exchange and matching with the right investors.

In the first quarter of 2022, the first startups will receive funding from Tregion Startup Invest.
