As we have been looking!

And here they are!

Three women doing it as researchers, lecturers and social actors all agree on. Three women who have ideas that can contribute to Sweden's welfare and to the work to to achieve the global goals.

We are now less than seven years away from achieving the goals set out in the 2030 Agenda, which aim to ensure that we live well within the limits of the planet. We may think primarily of climate and the environment and the challenges associated with them. But the global goals are about so much more than that.

Work on social sustainability must contribute to a society in which we can feel secure, and be given the conditions to develop and thrive. New innovations in health and welfare are therefore an important issue raised in both the Dala Strategy and the Government's Life Science Strategy. The Life Science Strategy states that if we are to meet the challenges facing welfare, we need to rapidly introduce new working methods, technologies and treatments to increase efficiency and quality in health and social care.

The global goals are also about economic sustainability. We know that we in Dalarna need more innovative companies, preferably more capital for our region and increasing exports. We also know that we need a more equal business community, with more women running and owning businesses.

I can therefore say that, as the entire Dalarna innovation arena, with a mission to help be part of solving our societal challenges, we have really looked for these women and ideas.

It took an innovation competition to find them.

Jamila Boccaccio, Ivana Radic and Moshira Hassan are the three winners of the Jagharenidé.nu innovation competition. Three smart women with ideas that solve important societal problems, three ideas that also have international potential. Read about them and their ideas in this article .

A big congratulations to you! And an equally big congratulations to Dalarna who will benefit from your wisdom and drive.

We're not just looking for ideas, we're also looking for your opinions

As a Science Park, we will act as the entire Dalarna innovation arena. This means that we must be available with support, networks, knowledge and tools in terms of innovation and sustainability to companies throughout Dalarna. To know that our efforts are going in the right direction and yielding results, it is important for us to constantly ensure a dialog with the world around us. One of the things we do is to conduct a digital survey three times a year, the Innovation Panel.

This time we ask questions about how we in Dalarna view our sustainability work. How are we doing? What challenges do we face and what opportunities are around the corner? Do we think we will meet the 2030 targets?

We hope you will contribute! With the help of your answers, we hope to promote continued dialog on issues important to Dalarna.

Respond to the Innovation Panel now!
