Everyone can fantasize, but to call yourself creative you need to think as well as do. So says creativity expert Tobias Degsell, one of the lecturers at Dalarna Innovation Days 2023.
- "If you want to be more creative, you need to train your ability to be comfortable being uncomfortable," he says.
The last hundred years have seen rapid development. Many areas of society have improved, while new and increasingly complex challenges have emerged.
- Technology can provide some solutions, but we also need the collective creativity of many people. There is enormous potential in meeting and doing things together," says Tobias Degsell.
One of those looking forward to his upcoming lecture is Angelica Ekholm, CEO of Dalarna Science Park.
- Tobias has the ability to make us think in new ways. Something that can lead to new ideas, innovations and business, which is exactly what Dalarna Science Park is all about: being the innovation arena for the whole of Dalarna and a meeting place for creative people.
Tobias Degsell previously worked as a curator at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm, where he managed to identify patterns in the way Nobel Laureates develop ideas. Tobias later deepened his studies in creativity, learning and innovation. Today he lectures around the world, often with the mission of helping organizations to dare to think and act in new ways.
