The Focus Industry Cross-Border Innovation project helps small and medium-sized enterprises in North Middle Sweden to strengthen their innovation capacity and meet the challenges of the future. Through increased collaboration, sustainable innovations and systematic working methods, the project will contribute to the green and digital transition.
The aim is to facilitate cooperation and create better conditions for climate-smart solutions. Companies will receive increased support in working with sustainability, circular business models and international growth.
What is the project about?
Between 2025 and 2027, Focus Industry Cross-Border Innovation is working to:
- Introduce common tools and methods for better collaboration between the actors. These common methods will benefit businesses in North Middle Sweden.
- Analyze companies' strengths in diversity, digitalization and circular economy.
- The tool can be used to identify patterns and lay the groundwork for cooperation between companies.
- Conduct feasibility studies that lay the foundations for sustainable innovation projects.
- Strengthen businesses' capacity for innovation and international cooperation.
These efforts create a platform where businesses and innovation actors can drive joint developments that contribute to both regional and global sustainability.
