Sustainable innovative growth

Rapid changes and an increasingly digitally connected world are challenging for businesses and require the ability to innovate and adapt to new conditions.

The HIT Innovation and Development Program aims to strengthen the long-term competitiveness of the region's SMEs and increase their ability to meet future challenges.

The project will provide companies with access to skills, new business models and tools for innovation and change management, and methods for circular solutions. 

The project will help to strengthen companies' capacity for change, innovation and digital transformation. The HIT innovation programme will lead to increased long-term competitiveness, new circular business models and digitalization.  

The initiatives in the project will contribute to the roadmap to a climate-smart Dalarna in accordance with the goals of the Dalarna Strategy 2030 through a competitive and viable business community with sustainable growth in the region. All activities must contribute to achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda.

The project includes workshops, individual coaching, knowledge enhancement seminars over a period of about 8 months per program round. Thereafter, the participants are offered a follow-up program - HIT Acceleration - which "takes the company to the next level", i.e. reinforces the innovation program to achieve further impact in the form of long-term sustainable competitiveness. HIT Acceleration is a direct continuation of HIT with the possibility of further deepening to achieve real movement according to the established target image.
