The project aims to strengthen innovative startups in Dalarna, helping them develop into sustainable, scalable, and internationally competitive companies, as well as contributing to increased entrepreneurship, gender equality, and regional transition. Through the incubator program, startups receive structured support to validate business ideas, build strong teams, integrate sustainability, use AI, and develop their ability to attract capital and reach international markets.
The goal of the project is to help more startups grow and survive, launch new products and services, attract investment, and reach new markets. There is a particular focus on reaching underrepresented target groups such as women, young people, and foreign-born individuals, as well as strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and innovation-promoting actors for long-term regional growth in line with Agenda 2030. In this way, the project contributes to increased new business start-ups, more inclusive entrepreneurship, and sustainable regional development in line with the Dala Strategy 2030 and Agenda 2030.
