Dalarna has emerged as one of Sweden's most exciting regions for innovation. It is no longer just about visions; now the figures are there in black and white. Dalarna Science Park's annual report for 2025 shows that the region is growing, collaborating, and creating real results. It is no longer bubbling under the surface; it is boiling with activity, optimism, and new opportunities.

Innovation that pays off

The incubator continues to be a strong driver of growth. During the year, 31 companies received support and together attracted nearly SEK 20 million in external capital. For the second time in a row, the incubator has also been awarded Vinnova's excellence status, a testament to its high quality and significant impact.

The AI initiative has engaged over 100 companies in the region, and more than 250 people have participated in digitization workshops. According to Dalarna Science Park's innovation panel, it is precisely efficiency and productivity that are created when AI is put into practice.

An ecosystem that delivers

Dalarna, as part of Northern Middle Sweden, is now ranked as a strong innovation region according to the EU's European Innovation Scoreboard, thanks to close collaboration between industry, academia, and the public sector. During the year, Dalarna Science Park organized 74 open events, visited all 15 municipalities in the county, and attracted nearly 2,000 participants to Dalarna Innovation Days.

The future is shaped here

The new circular industry accelerator shows how global startups and established industrial companies in Dalarna are working together to develop sustainable business models and how ideas are turned into growth.
