The sustainability work at Dalarna Science Park continues to take steps forward. For the third year in a row, we as an organization are verified according to ISO 26000, an international guide for social responsibility. The verification, which was carried out by the Verify Agency, highlights in particular the strategic focus on circular economy and residual flows as a clear progress.
- It feels very good that our systematic sustainability work continues to maintain high quality and has now been verified for the third year in a row. With an increased focus on residual streams and circular economy, we are now taking the next step in our sustainability journey. New strategy with clearer direction
Dalarna Science Park's overall strategy rests on four pillars - sustainability, innovation, internationalization and digital transformation, creating a common direction and strengthening the entire organization. Within this framework, a sustainability strategy has been developed with a particular focus on contributing to the transition through circular economy and industrial residual flows. This provides a clear direction for the future.
The verification work covers the entire organization and during the spring both the management team and employees were interviewed as part of the verification process. The work is based on the seven principles of social responsibility in ISO 26000 and the results show strong leadership, great commitment, respect for stakeholders' interests and a high degree of transparency and ethical behavior. The principles permeate both internal work and cooperation with partners, customers and suppliers.

With a renewed strategy and a stronger direction, Dalarna Science Park enters 2025 with its sights set on continued development. The goal is to be a driving force for sustainable regional development with an international reputation. The knowledge and quality that is built up through the verification work is used in contact with Dalarna's companies.
