The mission

Dalarna Science Park is the innovation arena for the whole of Dalarna and is located at the intersection of business, academia and research. Our mission is to promote innovation, strengthen business and contribute to a sustainable transition. We are non-partisan and work primarily with support for idea and business development. We also run regional development projects and participate in several national and international partnerships.

Our focus areas are sustainability, innovation and internationalization.

The networks

Dalarna Science Park is part of a network of hundreds of science parks and incubators around the world, so a contact with us can take you far - for example to an industry-specific business incubator in Borås, a university in Seoul or a new market segment in France.

A meeting arena

We are convinced that meetings between people make the world a better place, which is why we organize seminars, innovation competitions, workshops and lectures - events that provide knowledge and inspiration, but also the chance for new contacts and exciting collaborations. The locations of the events vary, from Borlänge and Idre to Almedalen and Stockholm. In most cases, you can also follow the events online.

The building

The Dalarna Science Park building in Borlänge houses around seventy companies and businesses. There are generous office spaces with many conference rooms, group rooms, test environments, break rooms and quiet rooms. The building also has a large courtyard and auditorium where events are often held, and on the ground floor you will find the reception and a popular lunch restaurant. All premises are owned and managed by the real estate company Hushagen.
