At Dalarna Science Park, we are now launching the Circular Industry Accelerator (CIA), where we will match industrial residual streams with startups and companies that want to explore new business opportunities and promote circularity.
We will support your work in using one of these residual streams to create new values.
The premiere round of our accelerator program starts in autumn 2024. Here, the industries Arctic Paper, Gevalia, and SSAB will participate –offering seven different residual streams that are just waiting to be used for something new.

How it works
- Small and medium-sized companies as well as startups are accepted into the accelerator.
- We are recruiting both in Sweden and internationally.
- The program duration is 6 to 9 months with start in autumn 2024.
- The format and support of this program is tailored to the needs of each participant.

Our support to you may include, among other things: Sustainable business development, environmental law, innovation management, new contacts and networks, market exposure, external technical expertise, collaboration support, access to test environments, and help with finding financing.

Gevalia (coffee roasting industry located in Gävle, Sweden)

SSAB (steel production industry located in Borlänge, Sweden)

Who is the circular industry accelerator for?
For startups and established companies with a solution and ability to create new values with one or more of the residual streams.

In order to make the most use of your new network and contacts we expect you to participate in person for the start-up of the programme as well as the official ending.
